Mr. Terry Nealy began his career in engineering and surveying in 1968 and has worked on numerous surveying projects, specifically, oil and gas well surveys, since that time. Coursework in drafting at both Kilgore College and Eastfield College established a framework that Mr. Nealy has built on since.
In 1976, he started a twenty-nine year career at Hart Engineering Co. in Longview, Texas. During his time at Hart Engineering Co. he served as Project Manager for all oil and gas well, pipeline and unit surveys. His client base includes Bivin's Operating Company, GMX Resources, EnCana Oil and Gas (USA), Prism Gas Company and Machin & Associates. In addition to oil and gas surveys, Mr. Nealy also has experience with surveying for clients like AEP/SWEPCO and Henry W. Pirkey Power Plant, and construction projects, such as the construction of FM 2625 and FM 3251. His experience also includes construction of railroads, earthen dams, and a project that involved 23 miles of waterline from Lake O' Pines to Pirkey Power Plant.
In November of 2004, Johnson & Pace acquired Hart Engineering Co. and Mr. Nealy joined the team of professionals at Johnson & Pace. Currently, he manages the field crews and technicians in Johnson & Pace's Oil and Gas Department. The clientele that Hart Engineering Co. had at the time of the acquisition are all current clients at Johnson & Pace. The Oil and Gas Department has grown tremendously since 2004 and the firm is eager to develop relationships with additional oil and gas companies.
