- Bates Container Facility & Expansion - LEDCO Industrial Park

Johnson & Pace performed civil engineering, structural engineering, and MEP engineering services for Bates Container’s new office and manufacturing facility in coordination with the Longview Economic Development Corporation (LEDCO) and City of Longview. The 17,000 SF office space includes a conference room, break area, training room, and design studio as well as a second level expansion. The 103,000 SF manufacturing facility includes storage, loading, docking, and processing areas to increase local production. The total construction cost for this project was $7 million. 

The project included 6 new triplex housing units and a complete land development design for the 5 acre site.
Residential
- Buckner Pathway Complex - Buckner Children and Family Services, Inc.

Johnson & Pace designed Buckner International housing units that provide temporary housing for moderate-income families in the Longview, TX area. The $6 million project included a 11,300 SF office and classroom facility, 6 new triplex housing units, and a complete land development design for the 5 acre site.

Johnson & Pace engineers designed the structural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for an addition to Longview High School. The 40,000 sf addition included two levels for culinary arts, welding, cosmetology, and other career-technology classes.

Johnson & Pace designed a crude oil loading facility in Waskom for Prism Gas. Designs included structural engineering for the rail loading rack and pipe racks, site utilities and drainage plans, pipeline layout and relocation engineering, a control room, and as built drawings. The total project cost was $1.2 million.

Hollybrook Coves

Johnson & Pace designed the Hollybrook Coves subdivision with 147 lots covering 42.5 acres. The subdivision included walking trails and dog parks, underground utilities, and the preservation of fully-grown oak trees in common areas and individual lots. Johnson & Pace provided land surveying and land development services for this $1.2 million project.

Johnson & Pace developed the plans to relocate 3.6 miles of Texas Farm-to-Market Road 39 for Texas Westmoreland Coal Company. This project involves all aspects of roadway design—surveying and civil engineering along with regulatory oversight. The total construction cost for this project was $13 million. 

Roy O Martin OSB Plant

Johnson & Pace provided all site development engineering services, as well as all concrete and area paving design, foundations, and structural steel design for Roy O Martin Lumber Company’s new OSB Plant in Oakdale, LA. The project spanned 260 acres, and the construction cost totaled $300 million.

Johnson & Pace developed the site designs for a new Best Western. Services included topographic surveying and land development for the layout of the hotel itself, drainage structures, and parking.

Johnson & Pace developed the conceptual site layout, then prepared full civil design documents for the East Texas Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center. In addition, Johnson & Pace architect Doug Camp designed the 10,000 square foot residence-style facility for exam rooms, surgery preparation, oral surgery, and offices.

Johnson & Pace provided all the design services needed to complete the new Perry Reed office facility, including land surveying, civil engineering, MEP engineering, structural engineering, and architectural design. The 10,350-square foot facility includes a reception area, a kitchen, break areas, conference rooms, a file vault, a server room, and a mechanical room, in addition to restrooms and 20 offices. Total project cost was $1.8 million.

Buckner Westminster Place

Johnson & Pace provided land surveying, civil engineering, MEP engineering, structural engineering, and architectural design services for a new assisted living facility, Buckner Westminster Place, for Longview, TX. The $2.5 million project was complete in December of 2007 and features several 6,500 sf “cottages” designed to feel like home.
