Mining Engineering

Johnson & Pace provides civil engineering and surveying services to the mining industry and maintains a strong safety record. Plans are submitted to the Rail Road Commission (RRC) for approval before any design in constructed.

Our services include mining and civil engineering planning, design and construction support along with land surveying assistance. We design mine sedimentation ponds, diversions, access and haulroads, all reclamation structures, as well as county and TxDOT highway relocations.

With Johnson & Pace, you will receive a full complement of mine planning and engineering design services for new mine area development as well as final reclamation and bond release. If you need design plan submittals for the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC), the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), our engineering staff can meet your needs.
